Meet Cristal Finley

I spent years in the corporate world, and I hit the same wall a lot of women do. I was good at my job, but being good at the work wasn't the same as being seen for it. Recognition and opportunities kept going to people who were better known, not better at the job, and I could feel myself stalling.

So I got intentional about my own visibility, how I showed up and how my work was seen. It strengthened all four pillars I now teach at Hers For The Taking, and it gave me real direction and a clear next step. Doors started to open.

That's how I'm wired. I've never been good at waiting for a door to open, so I go after what I want. Not because I'm fearless. I have the same nerves as anyone. I count to three and do it anyway, because the opportunities are there for the taking, for anyone, and it might as well be you.

My years in corporate, on nonprofit boards, and in community work taught me the same thing from every angle: the people who move forward are the ones who get seen for what they bring. I built Hers For The Taking to give women the confidence and the know-how to do that on purpose, to use the four pillars, be seen for their work, and reach the next goal in their careers.
